Pat Mussieux

For over 30 years, Pat Mussieux has worked in the field of human development. With a background in Human Resources, Sales and Marketing, she has delivered training across industry and around the world. Pat now specializes in working with women and is an expert teaching mindset, marketing and money techniques. She is the author of 2 books: “Who Am I Now? Simple Steps to Inventing your Future after Divorce, Early Retirement, etc.” and “Leadership Gurus Speak Out!” She is an acclaimed international speaker, executive coach, radio host, and author.

Doug Lofstrand

Doug Lofstrand has been involved in adult education for over 30 years having worked in the private sector with several large organizations and also spent 3 years working with the Government of Alberta in Apprenticeship and Industry Training. Doug’s background and experience comes from having functioned as an instructor, program manager and department manager in the corporate environment and his direct involvement with trade related programs and industry committees while working with the government.
Doug is a University of Alberta alumnus having completed his Bachelor of Education degree in Adult Education and Masters of Education degree in Adult and Higher Education through the Faculty of Education and Management Development Certificate through the Faculty of Extension. As well, Doug is a certified tradesperson having attained journeyman status in the communication electrician trade. He is eminently qualified to work with clients to address a wide spectrum of learning needs and encourage a culture of life-long learning.
Doug continues to be active in the adult learning community as a member of the Institute for Performance and Learning (IPL), the Association for Talent Development (ATD), former instructor in the Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education (CACE) Program offered through the Faculty of Extension, University of Alberta, and as an independent learning consultant.

Donald Norris

In 2007, Don Norris established Bamboo Strategy, after leaving his position as head of the China operations of the world�s largest advertising agency, McCann Erickson.

For 24 years Don worked in Canada and throughout Asia Pacific with the globeâ��s major advertising networks, providing effective integrated marcom programs to companies such as AMD, Coca-Cola, Chevron, Gillette, General Motors, Goodyear, Intel, J&J, L’Oreal, Labatt Brewing, MasterCard, Microsoft, Molson Coors Brewing, Nestle, Samsung and UPS.

His marcom experience extends beyond the traditional advertising arena, to cover the disciplines of qualitative research, promotions & events, digital & direct, healthcare, and retail. With a proven background in consumer insights, business development and training, Don understands that creating and nurturing relationships with consumers and employees is the only way to be effective.

After working & living 15 years in Toronto and 12 years in the exciting Asia Pacific cities of Bangkok, Singapore, Sydney and Beijing, Don and his family are now based in Canada.

Don holds an honours Bachelor�s of Business Management Degree from the Business School at Ryerson University in Toronto, is a guest instructor at the University of Alberta and NAIT in Edmonton, Canada, and was an inaugural board member of China�s 4A�s advertising association in Beijing.

Heather Lastiwka

Dynamic and experienced consultant with breadth of background across 5 major industries. She has worked with organizations of all sizes and complexity from entreprenurial, non-profit, public sector, and global Fortune 50. Heather brings creative thinking steeped in results to every scenario her clients present: performance leadership, management development, org design, team building, business strategy and action planning, personal coaching, and custom learning programs.

She has been an Executive internally as well as consulting partner externally during large-scale organizational change; leading people and process through timultuous times successfully. Her passion is for organizations to maximize the untapped resources they already have, by seeingthe work andthe people potential differently while encouraging people to grow where they didn’t see possible within their current work boundaries. She is a change advocate who models the patience, support and persistence to ‘get ‘er done!’

As a facilitator, Heather is engaging and challenging while maintaing excellent adult learning environments. She enjoys creating programs and learning activities that bring out the objectives clearly while making the experience memorable, so participants are open to furthering their personal journey. Shari Oswald

Shari is a Microsoft Certified Trainer. She majored in Business Administration and minored in Communication at the University of Colorado. She has over 12 years of training experience in the areas of Leadership, Team Building, Personal Development in addition to computer software and operating systems. She began her career in training in her role as Human Resources Manager, became an adjunct professor for Regis University and transferred those skills into technical training, consulting and courseware development.
Shari has delivered training for several large corporations in Colorado, Oregon, California and Minnesota as well as for individuals and small businesses. Her philosophy in training is that it�s her job to make her student�s job easier and enjoys helping them find more efficient ways to perform their daily tasks.
Shari�s expertise in the applications she teaches makes her an excellent resource as a subject matter expert which frequently leads to consulting engagements. Clare Paulson

Since graduating from the University of Alberta, Clare Paulson has spent most of the last 25 years working with clients as a trainer, coach, and consultant. He has received certifications as a Certified Professional Analyst for behaviours, values, TriMetrix, and Performance DNA. In addition to his consulting business, he has held middle and senior management positions with companies in the retail, oilfield, and construction industries. This varied experience gives him a broad insight into the needs of a wide range of client companies.

Grant Kelly

Grant Kelly is a consultant with expertise as HSE Advisor, trainer and coach with more than 35 years working in such diverse industries as Commercial Aviation, Construction and Manufacturing and the Oil and Gas Industries of Canada, the Middle East and South Asia. Leading teams and managing detailed safety programs have become an integral part of Grant�s professional life. He has a solid track record in training, mentoring and coaching having guided the careers of countless field workers as well as HSE Supervisors. Grant has just recently completed a project consulting to a large American oil and gas producer working in the South China Sea on a one year program to develop and improve their Workplace Safety Culture and improve their Leadership skills. Grant has lived and worked in Canada as well as the Middle East and South East Asia where he has proven himself as a skilled communicator able to maintain cultural sensitivity, establish rapport with members of diverse groups and promote team cohesiveness. He possesses strong skills in training, coaching and presentation delivery.

Grant works extensively in South East Asia but makes his home in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains of western Canada where he has been a 25 year supporter at the Medicine River Wildlife Centre, builds and sails wooden boats, rides his motorcycle and shares in the raising of his 4 year old granddaughter �Cassidy�. He is also co-founder and senior advisor and the driving force for a school for deaf children in northern Bangladesh.
