DR. FRANCIS ASHONG-KATAI
Dr. Ashong-Katai has had an extensive 19-year career in academic research, finance, consulting and rural development. He has worked as research associate, relationship manager, financial analyst, and corporate restructuring consultant. He has a first class degree in BSc. in Banking & Finance from the University of Ghana Business School, an MSc. in Accounting and Finance with Distinction from Manchester Business School in the U.K. and a PhD in Management from the Aztec University in Mexico. Dr. Ashong-Katai obtained an unusual mark of 95{17ed4b947b5ecd6da9d3a7b807fdef29c56bf028a610db6111fa8d721e8c087a} on his PhD evaluated using the Bologna framework. Dr. Ashong-Katai is an active speaker and writer, his writings have centered around management accounting change, organizational performance management and qualitative research methodology. He is currently the editor in chief of the Performance Measurement Association, based in Cranfield School of Management, U.K. Dr. Ashong-Katai is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (U.K (CISI)), and is an associate at the Centre for Business Performance, Cranfield School of Management (U.K.) and the Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge, U.K. Currently he works full time with the Northern Development Authority, Ghana.
