Ghana

Overview

CPI Training has been providing services for its clients in Ghana since 2009.
From the beginning, CPI helped Newmont Mines build two training centres; one at their Ahafo mine site; and another at their Akyem mine site. Since then, they continue to support Newmont and numerous other companies in a variety of sectors. Focused mainly on industrial trades training (e.g. welding, electrical, mechanical, process operations etc. they have partnered with world class facilities at Regional Maritime University (RMU) in Accra Ghana and Jubilee Technical Training Centre (JTTC) in Takoradi Ghana. In 2016, CPI along with Saskatchewan Polytechnic performed a TVET Needs Assessment for Global Affairs Canada (GAC) in the extractive sector in Ghana. The assessment resulted in increased demand from industry for our training and educational services. Consequently, CPI became a registered Ghanaian company in 2017. CPI continues to have a strong relationship with the Canadian High Commission in Ghana along with our long term clients who seek our services.

What our Clients are Saying

"CPI Training is one of 2 successes that the Trade Commissioner Officer in Accra recorded in Ghana. There is a major industry concern of lack of skilled middle level technicians and tradespeople. They have come to fill that space and have engaged the Ghana market consistently. This is the Canada brand that we want to promote. They come highly recommended."
