I have been in the steel trades for over 25 years. During that time I have worked in aerospace, mining, fabrication, energy, manufacturing and even niche markets such as film and television fabrication.

Dual Ticketed in both Red seal Welding and Fabrication I have also attained the business credentials in Blue Seal trades certification. LEAN (5S) Certified, TOWES Test administrator Certified, and OH&S Level 2 Certified.

Currently teaching in the Mining, Energy and Manufacturing division of a Post Secondary institution in Canada I still operate my private Welding, Fabrication and Consulting Business.

I also hold a Chair position for the Canadian Welding Association and am currently also contracted to write rubrics and curriculum for the Canadian Welding Bureau.

I spent 14 years in the non-profit sector as the director of training for a large human service agency. In 2001, I left this position to start Dan Block & Associates. In 2005, the business name was changed to TeamBuilding Blocks to more accurately reflect our specialization in helping employers to build solid teams. In addition to on-site training services, I also utilize a challenge ropes course that is located in Dubuque, Iowa for teambuilding and leadership development.

Kim Arsenault is an educator with more than 20 years experience in the post-secondary environment both teaching and managing the training function. Kim possesses a wealth of experience , knowledge and expertise and has delivered hundreds of training programs. Kim has international experience inand has taught in Cuba, Argentina and Ukraine. She holds several international curriculum certifications and is a certified DiSC and MBTI qualified facilitator.

I am working in different area of business for the last 12 years. I have also worked in teaching and learning, which includes training the staff. My previous assignment with a not for profit organization provided me opportunities to work in teachers’ training, curriculum designing, school management, and other relevant areas. I have also worked as an education consultant & counsellor and taught and trained the students of English language including ESL and business administration.
