Retreat Synopsis

Effective leaders create environments that challenge, motivate and energize their teams. Participants will learn how to develop fundamental strategic skills to lead or support organizational change and diverse teams, and create a healthy organization. Participants will also acquire new tools to address radical changes in the workplace and create an innovative, productive, challenged and re-energized workforce.

The International Leadership Retreat (ILR) runs for 10 days. For 6 days you will be taking classes at Grant MacEwan University and staying in their corporate residence in downtown, Edmonton Alberta. There you will have access to aquatic and gym facilities, recreation centre and library. As an ILR registrant, you can choose to stay in a corporate guest room or a bachelor suite with a kitchenette (depending on availability at time of booking the retreat).

In addition, you will travel by luxury coach to Canada's Rocky Mountains, visiting our famous Banff and Jasper resorts, as well as tour the magnificent Columbia Ice Field.

The ILR includes guest reception, industry reception, and a trip to Edmonton's West Edmonton Mall (WEM). WEM is North America's largest shopping centre and Alberta's number one tourist attraction with over 800 stores, 100 eating establishments and 9 themed attractions.

Retreat Price

The price for the 10 day retreat is $6,000 USD (plus gst at 5%) and includes:

• International Leadership Retreat
• A certificate of achievement from Grant MacEwan University received upon your successful completion of the program
