CPI Training member Dan MacDonald has delivered 2 “High Performance Culture” sessions with CREB. Participant and client feedback was over whelming and Cindy Halbauer, Human Resource Manager at CREB has asked Dan to come back and deliver two more sessions. This time Dan will be delivering sessions on performance management and goal setting.
CPI Training in partnership with BIS Trainer continues to add to it’s suite of on-line courses. There are two ways our members can get involved:
Over the past two years, CPI Training has provided instructional and curriculum development resources to Newmont Mines. Resources have come from Australia, Canada, and the United States. Being able to provide a wide range of curriculum and resources from around the globe has given Newmont the expertise they require, while at the same time lowering their costs.

CPI Training is working with SIAST to determine if companies in Alberta would be interested in their Skills Passport Program (SPP). The SPP has been set up over the last three years with funding from the HRSDC. Basically, SIAST has established assessment locations in foreign countries and through a series of tests will guarantee a workers skill set. Assessments are focused on English and Technical Trades. This is NOT a recruitment quest, rather a third party credentialing opportunity. Companies who have established recruitment firms or internal capacity will benefit from the SPP.
